WHAT: Motets of Bach and Brahms - The Clarion Choir performs three of Bach's beloved motets as a prelude to their performance of the Bach's B minor Mass in May. Brahms knew these motets well, and in his own motets he pays homage to Bach and to the great polyphonists of the Renaissance.

WHAT: Galileo's Lute - Works composed by Galileo's father and brother (Vincenzo and Michelagnolo Galilei) and their distinguished contemporaries. The recital will be performed on gut-strung lutes and presented in the unique acoustical splendor of the Custer Observatory dome.
